[Soot-list] loading individual classes with Soot

Hello,

I would like to use Soot to load individual .class files without  
loading all of the classes referenced therein.  I am wondering if  
this is possible?  If so, is it also possible to convert such a  
standalone class file to Jimple form?  I could imagine there might be  
difficulties as the class hierarchy would not be known.
