[Soot-list] Error in the static inliner phase?

Hi there!
This is with respect to the bug mentioned in:
http://www.sable.mcgill.ca/pipermail/soot-list/2007-May/001148.html
I am having the same problem and it is actually a significant problem  
for us.
Would it be possible to address this sooner than later?
I would also volunteer to contribute myself to the fix.
