[Soot-list] Java 1.5 annotations

Is there an interface for inspecting and modifying Java 1.5-style  
annotations on class members in Soot?  I saw this thread[1] from  
earlier, but it doesn't seem to have been resolved on-list.  (If not,  
I'd appreciate any advice on how best to proceed.)
