[Soot-list] New Soot release on the way

Hi all.

I am planning to release a new version of Soot within the next week or
so. Some of the new highlights (in chronological order):

- A completely new Jastadd-based Java 5 frontend to process Java 5
source code. Thanks to Torbjorn Ekman!
- Support for discovering, processing and writing out Java 5
annotations in, from and to bytecode. (Will Benton and myself)
- A completely new type assigner for local variables. The assigner is
tuned for speed (in avg. 10 times faster) and accuracy (sometimes
gives more narrow types than the old type assigner). Thanks to Ben
Bellamy and colleagues from Oxford University! (to be published at
OOPSLA 08)

Also I think that I included bug fixes to all issues that arose in the
meantime. If there is still any outstanding issue that needs fixing
please let me know. Also if there is anything else that would suggest
to postpone a release please let me know as well.
