[Soot-list] Heros ...

I want to do a inter-procedural data flow analysis (reaching defs) 
therefore I wanted to know if Soot + IFDS/IDE is the same as Heros 
(because Heros is also based on IFDS/IDE) or am I mistaken? 
If so, which one do you suggest?
