[Soot-list] Heads up: Soot will move to new GitHub organization

Dear all,

this is just a brief heads-up:

Over the past few weeks we have been working towards moving Soot to a new Github organization. The reason is that (for legitimate purposes!) quite people have access to the Sable organization, also as owners, who should not necessarily have write access to Soot. We want to professionalize the development and hence be able to manage access accordingly.

Soot is planned to be moved from…

https://github.com/Sable/soot/
…to:
https://github.com/soot-oss/soot/

The projects heros, jasmin and android-platforms will be moved accordingly.

The Github URLs will redirect for some time, but because we also update the CI/CD chain, the maven group IDs will change as well, from ca.mcgill.sable to org.soot-oss. Accordingly, the Soot webpage will henceforth be reachable through soot-oss.org<http://soot-oss.org>. (soot.org<http://soot.org> was already taken by domain grabbers unfortunately)

While changing the build we are also adopting Github actions. This has the distinct advantage that from now on visibility of the build is aligned with access permissions of Github.

I think it realistic that the move will happen within the next two weeks.
