Introductory exercises

  1. Create a homepage, if you don't already have one. Discuss how Java applets or interactive web services could be relevant (or merely k00l).

  2. Discuss the C programming language and styles of programming.

  3. Discuss the available UNIX tools for developing C-programs. Find out about:
    • make
    • gdb or DDD
    • gprof

  4. Organize yourselves into project groups of sizes two or three.
