[abc] AOSD paper

Yesterday I played a bit with the techrep format, to create at first
shot at what abc tech reps might look like. We also played a bit
with the size of the figure (and packing of figures) in the paper
to get it to fit into 12 pages.

Here are a couple of small things that have to be done to the paper:

1) the reference to the abc tech report could give a more precise URL, if
    we have one.

2) the heading for conclusions needs to be forced to the next column (if
       we are finished with other formatting ... adding sentences .... so
       on.

3) if we wanted to, we could change the two figures that contain tables to
      be \begin{table} ... \end{table}. If we do that then,
          a - references must be changed from Figure x to Table x
          b - the techreport version needs to activate the toc entry for tables

4) we need to put the techreport version on the abc web site. Ganesh and
    I thought it would also be appropriate to put links to the tech report
    on the progtools and sable web sites .... (but link to the (.ps,.pdf)
    files that are on the abc web site.

5) we need to submit the paper! .... better not forget that one!

Who is in charge of this (particularly point 5!).
