Well it is submitted. After days of Sascha sweating (and me
sweating from time to time) we didn't come up with exact numbers to
add to the table, but we are pretty close to that - and it is clear
that we can mix and match different techniques and do an ajc-like
around weaving with similar performance.
I added a paragraph to the around section to say what we had found,
and that we are still improving on it. Hopefully I can show some
numbers for this at the conference itself. I left the actual
measurements as they were, because these were a consistent set of
numbers, corresponding to abc 1.0.2.
Our new numbers still need some work because we have to get rid of
the spurious params which magically reappeared late tonight. However,
we have enough timings and examples of woven code that I am quite
confident to say what I put in the paper.
Please take a look and let me know of any terrible mistake I might
have made - I don't work well late at night! And the submission form
was terrible!
I also had to move around the tables a bit in order to get them to
come out in the right place. I think it all looks ok now.
