The organisers would like us to send them our materials on Feb 17,
so it's time to take action [although I'm inclined to do our own
repro, last year they forgot to copy our materials!]
It is a whole day tutorial, so there are about 5 hours of teaching
available.
The suggestion is to divide them as follows:
1. general introduction to abc,
small examples, up to new jps but no optims or analysis
use same materials as last year
[2 hours]
2. Substantial extensions
2.1 Open modules [adapting the matcher] (Neil) [1 hour]
2.2 Tracematches [focus on Jimple codegen] (Julian and Pavel) [1 hour]
3. Analysis and optimisation
Soot analysis framework; paddle
Case study: optimising cflow
Can probably re-use substantial parts of last year's slides.
[1 hour]
The cvs module aosd06tutorial is where we put stuff when it's
ready.
Unlike last year, we're not going to do hands-on exercises.
Ondrej and Eric, we'd like to discuss very rough drafts of the
lot sometime next week. Might you be able to make a skype meeting
on Tuesday or Friday?
