[abc] musketeer unhappy

Hi all,

Executive summary: Please minimise usage of musketeer for the next couple
of weeks.

Musketeer's hard disks are playing up again. As a result, it is currently
running with DMA turned off and with only one of the two mirrored disks in
use. Unhelpfully, this has happened just before lots of people disappeared
for AOSD/ETAPS, so getting it fixed quickly may be a bit tricky.

This means that for the next two weeks (a) it is going to be slower than
usual and (b) if anything else goes wrong it will probably fall over in a
heap.

Since musketeer is critical to serving several websites (abc, progtools
and metacomp), it would be nice to reduce the chances of (b). So if
possible, please try to avoid using it - in particular you can use
cardinal instead for most work. Pavel et al have finished with it
for intensive benchmarking for now :-)

Obviously the CVS repository etc is still on musketeer, and you may have
data you need there. But if you can see a way to avoid it without
significantly impairing your work, then please do.

Cheers,

Ganesh
