You give a very nice motivation for a formal pointcut semantics.

p. 28: Do you really want to say M$ SQL server? With the dollar sign?

The transition to the open modules stuff is also smooth, I found.

I didn't realize you're now implementing open modules in Datalog
(or are you? the slides at the end kind of suggest it)
