Running JDK on SOCS machines and at home

  • You should be able to find current versions of the JDK on any Solaris or linux machine in the SOCS lab.
  • If you are using an implementation of Java on your own machine, you will have to download the appropriate JDK/SDK. For example, you may get a Windows95/NT version and other versions from Sun's Java Download site.
