[Soot-list] Soot Dual License Possible?

Hi Stephan,

Thanks for your interest in using Soot!

Unfortunately, the principal author of the core of Soot, Raja 
Vallée-Rai, is no longer with us. While we could speculate about what he 
might have considered doing if he were still alive, I don't think that 
we can give permission to relicense on his behalf. To my mind, his 
contributions are still central enough to Soot's functionality today 
that I wouldn't be comfortable without his permission.

His copyright expires in about 40 years, but that's probably too long 
for you to wait. I'm sorry that I don't have better news for you.
