Xact has been updated since the version currently in abc-testing.jar, so it
should probably be changed to use the new version. Pavel tells me you are the
one in charge of that. Also, if you give the option -DXact.validate=false to
java when running the test harness, the schema validation of the XML input is
disabled, which should give a significantly faster startup time.
An up-to-date xact.jar can be found in my home directory on musketeer. This is
of course mostly for our own sake, so probably not that important for the
release, but it won't hurt changing it at the same time.
Do we want to do anything about bug 43 - declare parents on binary classes? I
reckon Oege figured out the details about what needed to be done to make all
the checks run. Or are we pushing this till the next release?
