[abc] 1790 and 1791 restored

I (hopefully) managed to recover revisions 1790 and 1791. Also, I
checked in 1792, which is to fix the circularity between the declare
parents and class resolving. There's a corresponding abc change that I'm
in the process of checking in as soon as I can resolve conflicts. I
haven't yet tested these checkins; am doing that now.
