We might not actually need it, depending on what it did. What did it do?
If it didn't affect the generated code, then we don't need it. It sounds
like it just disabled the analysis that enables sharing, right? So it
you disable sharing, it shouldn't make a difference whether you do the
analysis for sharing or not, should it? Or did the option do something
important?
