I have changed the font of the institution addresses to Arial 10pt,
which is what their \affaddr macro does. I hope this is sufficient,
since they only complained about font size.
I have also fiddled the paper until the two widows disappeared (and no
more appeared). The current version is in CVS or
http://musketeer.comlab.ox.ac.uk/~pavel/re21-allan.pdf -- please have a
look. I am going home now and will submit from there if there are no
complaints.
