There are no pre-requisites for this course other than a basic CEGEP or
high-level mathematics course.
- "Java Software Solutions: Foundations of Program Design", 5th edition by Lewis and Loftis.
Addison-Wesley, 2006.
This course introduces students to computer programming, and is
intended for those with little or no background in the subject. You
also do not need to have any knowledge of computer science in general
(except for knowing how to use e-mail, browse the Web, etc.).
